Julie Paisley Workshop, Day two! – Johnson City, Tennessee Wedding Photography

Hey guys! This is a continuation of my experience at the Julie Paisley Workshop from my first post, you can see that one here: First and hopefully not the last

After a fantastic first styled shoot, I had no doubts that day 2 was going to be just as amazing. After staying up til the wee hours of the morning gabbing like school girls, we were all pretty reluctant to get out of our pajamas. We spent the morning going over the lessons, discussions and critiques with Julie. Mentally drained and full of a wonderful breakfast, we were excited to take a break and go play in the fields again! It was drizzling but what did we care? Luckily, our models didn’t care much either. Erika & John were such troopers so off to the peanut storage sheds we tromped.

Can you believe they’re not professional models? Yeah, me neither! How adorable is her little nose crinkle?

We started in the peanut sheds but eventually ended up back in the cotton fields with a beautiful little quilt that sparked the inspiration for my new logo.

And once again…details and eyelashes. I can’t resist.

Another big THANK YOU to Julie for this wonderful workshop. Big hugs to Warthan Farms in Waverly, VA for allowing us to stay in your beautiful farm house and use your cotton fields. Not to mention the delicious food and snacks! I had such a wonderful time that weekend and it truly was a retreat!

Be sure to comment and show Erika & John some love!

Love love the detail shots. And the inspiration for your logo was magic. A quilt pattern brings warmth and feeling of home. Great job.
